Thanks, @Ahhh Girl!
Edit: Argh, triple-post… I didn’t mean to, honest… *whispers* Maybe since the others are on the last page, no one will ever know it happened….
Second edit: Just saw your post in derail. Could have just thanked that and been done. Oh well. Awesome mods can’t be thanked enough I suppose.
Okay, everyone else, you can go back to staying on topic!

Not sure what years these are……but I definitely want to know what brand that guitar is.
That appears to be a Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet . I believe that it’s the same guitar that was featured on the cover of the album Cloud Nine . According to Wogblog, this photograph is from 1961, and I tend to agree given George’s hairstyle. They also claim that it’s taken in George’s house, which seems likely.
Lennon and a friend…
According to Beatle Source, this is from October 1958 and is taken outside Ye Cracke Pub.
Roughly about Spring 1961. Taken at The Grapes, which was across the street from The Cavern. (Source)
Mid-1961, outside the Cavern Club. This photo is actually cropped. Here is the full, uncropped version. (Source)
Before looking it up, this looks like early-mid 1963 to me. [After looking it up] Okay, I was close. This is April 5, 1963 at EMI House, London. (Source)
Note the older logo on the bass drum.
Wish I could find a larger version of this.
Apologies for any duplicate postings.
This one took me a long time to find. First of all, the photo you’ve posted seems to be somewhat altered from the original. The original photo appears to have had a blank drum head. Here is the larger version of the photo you requested. This photo was taken by Albert Marrion in his studio on December 17, 1961. (Source)

I’m creating a website devoted to the White Album for class, and I was wondering if anyone knew what photoshoot this photo was from. My best guess was the mad day out session? I’ve seen images from this locale before. Does anyone know where this is? One of the members’s homes perhaps? Thanks in advance!
Edit: I just found it is indeed from the Mad Day Out session. Does anyone know what location it is?

Disturbing? Just a little!
I believe the friend is Rory Storm, so it was probably late 50s early 60s. Other than that I can’t say.

It’s Ringo and Johnny Guitar taken during Rory Storm and the Hurricanes 1961 Butlins’ residency.
