It’s dubbed over, but the quality is way better than the original… the video it’s from.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

That Gif is at the top of my tumblr page right now. I was trying to eat dinner earlier and the laptop was to the right of the TV (yes we watch TV while we eat seeing as our place is too small to have a dining room so we have to use the couch) and it was soooo distracting.

Clearly, he knew which magazine he was posing for.
I think back then we were all trying to pretend the magazine wasn’t geared towards gay men.

Like John Lennon said, he’s “all pizza and fairytales,” that Paul! And we love him for it.
(of course, when John told him that, Paul replied “well, f**k you, Kojack!” so there you go! )
But honestly, it’s the family-oriented and down to earth nature of the guy that is one of the reasons beyond the music that I really admire him as a person.

Long Haired Lady — you might be interested in some pics I found of Paul. They’re not “funny pics” (I couldn’t find a topic here to fit this in), just normal pics, some of which I’ve never seen before, though maybe you already know them.
Anyway, they are part of a photo mongtage that accompanies this YouTube of Paul’s song “Take It Away”.
You have to watch the whole thing, as most of the photos come in the latter half up to the end. One of them is kind of neat — Paul, Linda, and George Martin and his wife, all standing in front of a house.

Excellent, thanks for sharing that! Quite a find! Plus that’s one of my all-time favorite Paul songs, so it’s very enjoyable

You’re welcome LHL and Dr.Beatle!
The reason there’s a pic of Paul and George Martin (and wives) is that Tug Of War , as I understand it, was a kind of reunion of Paul and George Martin after a few years of being apart musically. Not only did Martin produce the album, he also was heavily involved in the instrumentation and scoring of “Take It Away”. I’m certain that elaborate brass at the end had to have been realized and notated by Martin — even if Paul explained in detail how he wanted it to sound.
