I think its more crappy merchandise that nobody gives a crap about or thought they would ever need and don’t. How about Apple stop putting all their efforts into putting this s**t out and give us something new to be truly excited about – and they do it properly and comprehensively without any f@#%-ups or glaring signs of idiocy and incompetency.

I’m honestly dreading how they will screw up the live project in August. Tho no doubt the merchandise for it will be plentiful and ready to go.

Not entirely true. I wouldn’t buy them today, but if these were available back in the day, they would have been “must haves” for this kid. I collected and/or traded hundreds of Hot Wheels. They were treasured gifts for birthdays, Christmases, good report cards, etc…

OMFG, if Hot Wheels had a Beatles collection back then…

Ok. So Apple only missed the boat by a few decades or so.

The MSRP on the Hot Wheels website is $1.09.

ahdn_paul_06That’s what someone on Amazon said. Not a bad profit margin, eh?

A guy who lives around the corner from me has put together an entire catalog of Hot Wheels going back forever.

He and I now have something in common.

Considering a certain Ringo song, I’d have thought the Beatle people would be more inclined to use Matchbox rather than Hot Wheels.

Then they could also use packaging as a container for wearing apparel.

Nah, but next month, Matchbox are putting out Carl Perkins-themed cars.

So these need to be called “Hot Wheals” then… right?
