My new John piece, finished this week. INK (rOtring pen 0.1mm nib) on A4 cartridge paper.
Slight black / grey wash with Prismacolor pencil.
Original now signed up and spoken for, gifted to a special friend.

Had loads of fun drawing this, my second Lennon piece. I could draw him week in, week out.

That hairstyle from Instant Karma makes some people think that he’s Eric Clapton and not John Lennon .

They do look very similar at that age. The granny glasses gives it away though. I know a lot of people that don’t recognize John without his glasses on! Eric did/does wear glasses (I think just to read), but they’re much smaller, I think.
That is a very good drawing, Greg, well done!
