It seems the campaign failed as nothing has been heard, and the “statue4eppy” website is gone.

That’s too bad, I would love to see an Eppy statue, he definitely deserves it.

Of course, the most important Liverpool public artwork, as it was the first, and surprisingly not mentioned yet (including by me), is Arthur Dooley’s Mathew Street plaque, “Four Lads Who Shook the World”.
Unveiled in 1975, it originally also included a cherub shown flying away to represent Paul, but it was stolen shortly after. It reappeared in 2005, but I can’t remember it having been put back in place. The “Lennon Lives” tribute was placed alongside in the ’80s.
This is the plaque as originally unveiled, with the Paul cherub in place:
Notice how Paul has Wings… Clever pun!

I personally can’t believe that we have a statue of Cilla Black in Liverpool, but yet there isn’t one of Brian Epstein. If it wasn’t for him, she probably wouldn’t have had a singing career.
Oh, and no one in Liverpool says ‘lorra, lorra’ either. I honestly don’t know where she picked that up from. (And yes, that statue is supposed to be Cilla Black )

That scares the living daylights out of me! The Harrisonette has competition…
The Harrisonette reigns supreme over all because it’s considerably lifelike and IT MOVES, FER ZEPPSAKE AAAAGH
whereas LPD’s statue is not realistic (let’s face it, Ringo isn’t actually turquoise) enough to be actually scary.
In my (hardly!) humble opinion, anyway…

For a while I had some Sticky Note Beatles taped up on my wall. They were badly drawn faces each representing a Beatle. Sadly they all fell behind my bed. RIP. They were a good tribute…

Looks like I’ve been wasting art supplies while emptying the lint screen from the dryer as well as the dust collection bin from the vacuum. Our dog sheds an incredible amount of hair.
