I have an original 16×20 photograph. Not a litho. This is a print from the Albert Marrion photo shoot from 1961.
The question I’m asking, and no one seems to know: Was my photo made from the digitized negatives.
I’m asking that because Gary Schaeffer the current owner of the original negatives had them digitized (so I’m being told), after he bought them from the Garth Pawlowski Estate at auction in 2001.
I believe that Schaeffer commissioned someone to make a series of 16×20 prints. Who sold them?
I do remember seeing the same print (that I now own) from an online dealer, but I don’t remember the year.
If anyone owns a similar print or has knowledge of the origin of the print, I would appreciate a reply.
