This took some serious tracking down, @Shamrock Womlbs.
The picture was taken on either the 26 or 27 August in one of the communal kitchens in the dormitories at Bangor University while they were there to attend the Maharishi’s TM conference. The photographer was Henry Grossman.

There’s also the bit that it shows them in the last hours before the break-up began. John would say afterwards that, “I knew we’d had it then.”
It always strikes me that John, George and Ringo stayed together at Bangor, and headed back to London together, while Paul went back to London earlier and without them.
And three years later, those would be the battle lines.

i wonder if in the picture of john and Cyn they didn’t know it already, they seem to have that kinda sad smile in their faces like remembering the good old days with him (but probbly i’m thinking too much about it, heheh…)… Anyway John and Cyn look like so far away from each other…

Humorous observation: In one post, there are three mentions to three members who have changed their names. mja6758, cbatcu and lillo78. That got my creative (or not) juices flowing. If you will indulge me, I offer a lighthearted view of the recent identity crisis.
Yesterday , all the user names were still the same.
Now it looks as though many have changed.
Yet I retain my user name.
Suddenly, half of you aren’t who you used to be.
Who the Hell is that chatting with me?
Yet I remain Zig, faithfully.
Why’d so many change? It’s insane. It hurts my brain.
