Posted over at Bootlegzone, dated as 5th August 1961 and from ‘Tune In’. The first known picture of Ringo with another Beatle.
Is it just me or did Ringo look older before he was a Beatle?
No question. The bangs of the moptop hair definitely made him look younger. He also had that streak of gray hair that was covered up soon after he joined.

Offline Posted at beatlesource, heads-up from wogblog. Quite possibly the only picture with Ringo, Pete, John, Paul and George. Details of the photo are that its thought to be at the Liverpool Tower Ballroom on the 8th December 1961.
Note: Interesting that the spelling of Beatles is incorrect on the poster to the right hand side of Paul, its the double “ee”.

Note: Interesting that the spelling of Beatles is incorrect on the poster to the right hand side of Paul, its the double “ee”.
And right below that, it says Rory Storm. I think they appeared together on 3 dates in December (1st, 8th and 26).

Offline I do like this colourised picture I came across of them during their three month stint at the Top Ten Club between 1 April and 1 July; John and George on guitar and at the mics, Stu on bass, and Paul on piano, playing to what looks like a pretty deserted club…
