I just saw John C. Reilly’s movie Walk Hard yesterday. It’s sort of a mock biopic about a Johnny Cash-like star named Dewey Cox.
Anyway, there’s a hilarious scene in which Dewey travels to India to find enlightenment with the Maharishi. Of course, he meets the Beatles there. He’s wowed and and tells themthey’re almost as good as the Monkees.
Then the Beatles start bickering amongst themselves. George mumbles something about sitting around playing his gently weeping guitar. Paul (played by Jack Black) tells him, “You’re supposed to be the quiet one. So why don’t you just shut the f___ up?”
This movie is the funniest send-up of rock and roll since This is Spinal Tap.

Hahaha, hilarious!
Here it is for those who haven’t seen it:
Though, mind you, there is a bit of naughty language, so bear that in mind.
And you may also feel a need to kill Paul Rudd playing John, ugh, terrible job… but, watch it nonetheless!
Tongue, lose thy light. Moon, take thy flight… see ya, George!

They were deliberately bad impressions, it’s part of the joke!

Oh, I realize!
But… ugh. Just puts me off. At least the others were tastefully funny, but Rudd’s… I dunno.

I just saw that movie recently. That part made me laugh so hard! The four of them actually did a job and it was quite the funny part in that movie.
My dad was watching this in the other room a couple days ago and he made my entire family (four girls, ages 6 to 14, all of whom are Beatlemaniacs) come in the room and watch it with him. Me and my 11-year-old sister were literally on the floor laughing… we pretty much lost it.
By far one of my favourite clips in a movie ever.
"I'd like to end up sort of unforgettable."
