I was thinking about this thread again yesterday and it occurred to me that although the ill-conceived remake of Yellow Submarine has thankfully been scuttled, it would be a better idea to use the same technology to create something new.

A semi-animated comic version of The Three Musketeers, as an example, could still be fun if done right and it shouldn’t be too hard to pick half a dozen songs to fit – Anytime At All comes to mind as a potential for the main titles. Maybe Paul and/or Ringo would even contribute something original.
