The Beatles wore their Sgt Pepper uniforms in the music video for Hello Goodbye .
How did this come about and what was the timing? Was Hello Goodbye almost a Sgt Pepper track?
Did they ever wear the uniforms again?

Offline Probably as a joke, why they used them in the Hello Goodbye video, but I’m not sure. But George used his in his When We Was Fab video, from 1988.

Offline I just re-watched “Magical Mystery Tour ” and I see that what I thought was just a music video for Hello Goodbye was actually the intro scene to the movie.
So I guess they were making this fantasy film after the Sgt Pepper album and the uniforms did fit into all the psychedelic imagery.
It's probably heresy to mention this but I used my video editing software to cut out almost all of the scenes except the music videos and shots of the bus driving around.

From what I've heard of the movie, it's actually better like that.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.
