The Magic Christian is now one of my favorite films. Badfinger, Peter Sellers, Ringo, Spike Milligan, Racquel Welsh and Cleese and Chapman all in one place!
Plus, I thought I should bring up the Blindman film Ringo did in 1971.
It’s a low budget spaghetti western about a blind cowboy saving 50 (!) floppy breasted women from something or another. Ringo plays a character called Candy and Allen Klein is uncredited as a fat rifleman. Just from this one trailer you can tell how bad it is…

Thought I would post this here. I was looking around youtube at Ringo videos and found the full “Ognir Rats” special from 1978. As with most of the other Ringo movie ventures, it isn’t the greatest. But at least we get some narration from George Harrison (my god that perm)!
EDIT: forgot to add that Carrie Fisher is in this too, which is a treat!
EDIT 2: I searched for the wrong thing and completely missed the thread that’s already in the Ringo part of the forum. My apologies!!!

I watched this a few months ago, and didn’t think it was bad, although I can see why it didn’t get far (budget wise). I love the Beatles references thrown in at points too, as well as the scene where he walks around the cutouts of his idols . Did anybody else feel sorry for Ognir at the beginning?

Ognir Rrats does have it’s own thread for anyone interested enough to want to read it.

I think it must have two threads, because I remember starting one as well.

Usernames can only be changed by a request to @Joe via PM.
It got too confusing when people started swapping identities and posting as other forum members, and was happening too much, so Joe blocked the ability to change username, though is happy to make the change himself on request, especially with newer members who might have realised another name better suited them on this forum.
He’ll change names for those who want them changed but put in the block to stop it being used as the frivolous and disruptive game some started to do with it.

Guys. I was kidding… Maybe I should have put a smiley up. I think the name Dingle Lad is pretty clever actually. I’m not a Ringo devotee though. Maybe Ringo Klauss. Hey there’s another great name.
