Does anyone know when the announcement about the London and Liverpool premieres of A Hard Day’s Night was made? I need the exact date. Also, if anyone has a clipping or copy of the announcement, that would be fantastic. It’s for a Beatles-related story that I’m working on, and I know that if I pick a date out of the air someone is bound to pop up and tell me how full of wrongy-wrongness I am.

Online No idea but the date of the premiere was in the 9th May 1964 issue of Billboard so must be around then.
Its not in the Beatles monthly as in the May issue they were reporting it as being “within the next three months”.
