Hello, Fellow Beatles Fans
A few years ago a New York-based film company started work on the film version of my Beatles novel Mersey Boys . The project stopped when the money ran out. Recently an Irish Film company produced a ten-minute short film entitled Mersey Boys : A Letter from Al Moran. The movie shall make it’s world premiere at the International Beatles on the Beach Festival in Delray, Florida, April 25-28. Further screenings shall be held in Limerick, Ireland and Greenville, South Carolina.
The cast included 10 actors: 2 Americans, 2 British and 6 Ireland. The film includes 3 interior shots: 2 filmed in Galway and 1 in Wicklow.
