Crazy moment at the start of Ep 3 – Paul’s demonstrating the multitracks of “USSR”, casually mentions that he was on drums. Rubin asks how that came about, and Paul says that he was showing Ringo what to do and Ringo said “Well, you do it!” No acknowledgement that he had to do it due to Ringo leaving the band!

I ‘ve just seen first 3 episodes and, man, same ooold stories about same old stuff… How he got Sgt. Pepper ‘s name idea, how the press thought they were over while they were working on Sgt. Pepper ‘s, he and George sharing bus rides, how John contribution to Getting better was “it couldn’t get much worse”…

I watched part one a while back and found it to be very underwhelming, mostly stuff I’ve heard before numerous times. Can’t remember what the story was but there was one that every person and their teddy bear had heard before yet Rubin made it out that he hadn’t. Truth be told I forgot all about possibly watching part two until reading this thread, not sure I want to.
