I don’t think anyone has posted about this yet. New archival footage and interviews with those close to John during the Dakota years will be included in this documentary about John’s death, released this fall. There is also a book.

Maybe they will interview Jack Douglas and we can finally know what John Lennon told him just before he died that he erased from the tapes.
My guess is 1) He had a terminal illness or 2) He thought the government was trying to kill him.
