I love this movie. Every time I watch it I laugh at parts I already knew about, but they are just so funny I can't help it! My favorite parts are the 5 scenes where they try to get the ring off, Paul's exciting adventure on the floor, the Ticket To Ride skiing scene, and many more, to many to name.

What I love about this movie is that thinking about it now or when I've just started watching it, I'm thinking “This movie is pretty stupid.” But then toward the middle, it seems the movie has worn down any snobbery I might have had and I'm pretty much laughing at anything going on in the movie, either up front or in the background.
Maybe they smoked up so much during the making of this movie, it's possible to get a contact high off it. 🙂 I still love it.

Excellent!
Although I’m thinking this means the rumored DVD release of Let it Be this year is probably not gonna happen now…:-?

Why do i have a desire to get a Blu-Ray player? Damn Beatles and their movies being rereleased! Havent seen Help ! in so long. The I Need You scene is one of my favourites, probably as we get to see the Beatles ‘perform’ I Need You .
As for Let It Be i’d be more shocked if it was released rather than failed to show for the 18th time.

I’m debating whether or not to get since I already have it on dvd. I’m surprise, yet at the same time I’m not that Let It Be has not been released.

Not necessarily. Remember, both “Yellow Submarine ” and “Magical Mystery Tour ” were released on Blu-ray last year (the former in June, the latter in October). I would guess the same will happen again this year. If not the long-awaited “Let It Be ,” then hopefully either “A Hard Day’s Night ” or “The First U.S. Visit” (with whichever 2 not released this year to be released in June & October of next year).

Walter Shenson, A Hard Day’s Night ‘s producer, got it written into the contract that after fifteen years (so 1979) the rights reverted to him. It has passed through various hands since then, currently being owned jointly by Miramax and The Weinstein Company (though at the time it was acquired Miramax was owned by Disney, and is now owned by Filmyard Holdings, LLC). The home video sub-license is currently in the hands of Lionsgate.

OK, then, bring on either “Let It Be ” or “The First U.S. Visit” on Blu-ray in October (I suppose “Anthology” would be pushing it right now)!

“Help !” is out on Blu-Ray next week!
When was this announced? I just saw it on the Beatles’ feed on FB.
And in case anyone is looking for ‘A Hard Day’s Night ‘ on Blu-Ray, it’s been available in Canada for a few years.
E is for 'Ergent'.
