Sorry if I’m repeating. I can lock/delete topic if there’s a another one. Personally, my favorite one A Hard Day’s Night, and I haven’t gotten the chance to see Yellow Submarine yet, but I really want to! So, what’s your favorite Beatles movie and why do you enjoy it so much? 😀

You can? That's news to me.
Let's see, for me, it's a tie between YS (childhood favorite) and AHDN (as if I need a reason). I haven't seen LIB so I can't say. I prefer HELP! over MMT, but if you look at them both as extended music videos?… no. HELP! is still better.
You really should watch Yellow Submarine . Enjoy!
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!
MMT and Let It Be I haven't seen for years. LIB was better, though I love watching all of them – it's lovely to spend an hour or so watching The Beatles.
AHDN is my favourite, as the songs, script and direction are all brilliant. Help ! I don't care so much for, though the songs are good. YS is OK but it's not really them, is it?

I would actually have to say that Help ! is my favourite, but AHDN is a very close second. Yellow Submarine is third, then probably MMT. Let it Be is last because it's not really a movie, I guess. Also because I don't really like seeing all the tension in the studio.

Hm, I've only seen AHDN and YS, but I do intend to check out “Help ” one of these days. (And I long for the day when I'll get a chance to see LIB .) (And yeah, I guess I'm curious about MMT as well, even though the few non-musical bits I've seen are pretty non-promising.)
Anyways, both of the two I've seen are great in their own way, but YS is only incidentally a Beatles film, really, so I'll have to go with AHDN . (Even though it's marred by a few stale slapstick gags that are just too dated to be funny. I'm thinking of Ringo's solo scenes particularly.)
Hey, what about Beatles-themed feature films? “I Want To Hold Your Hand ” and “Backbeat” are fab. And of course that “Sgt. Pepper ” monstrosity is unspeakable.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.
I've never seen the Sgt Pepper film, though I've yet to read a positive word about it.
What was I Want To Hold Your Hand ?
Backbeat was great, agreed.

“I Want To Hold Your Hand ” (1978) was Robert Zemeckis' first film, a comedy about the hysteria surrounding the Beatles first trip to New York and a group of teenagers from New Jersey trying to get tickets to the Ed Sullivan show, and/or crash their Park Plaza hotel suite. Great cast and clever fake-appearances of the lads themselves. I still think it's the best thing Zemeckis has ever done, or close to it.

I'm probably in the minority as Let it Be is my favorite, it's just fascinating! The comments, the looks they give each other while playing, Yoko haunting the place like a ghoul, Paul and Ringo's little jam on the piano, and finally the rooftop concert, it's all so good. AHDN is number two for the hilarity of it and the other three are sort of tied. I like Help , but it does get a bit silly at times, although the music is obviously fantastic. I have to be in the right, umm, state of mind to watch MMT, but even then it's too ridiculous to really make sense of. YS is very entertaining, but since the Beatles had little or nothing to do with it, it's my least favorite.

*Points at avatar* AHDN is my personal favorite. And I just saw YS for the first time today! I liked it but it made me feel at times like I was tripping on LSD. I like Help too, but some of it is a little bit too silly for me. I haven't seen LIB or MMT yet. But I do plan on it. And I Want To Hold Your Hand is quite a funny movie. And when I saw a bit of the Srgt. Peppers movie I instantly turned it off. It's seriously that bad.

The Sgt. Pepper movie is great in a horrible way! You've gotta admit, that Peter Frampton has some… nice… physical traits.
My favorite is Help !. A Hard Day's Night and Yellow Submarine are tied for second, and second is really close to first. I guess I could say I like those three the most, and the other two the least.
I'm in love, but I'm lazy.

As for the Beatle movies I always favor the one I saw most recently which in my case right now is Help !. Although I haven't seen LIB yet so that should be my new fave soon.
As for movies that are more “Beatle Tribute” movies I've only seen 2. Across The Universe which I love because its so romantic and everyone can sing(plus all the male actors are HOTT!). And Backbeat which I honestly don't like very much, not to sure why though.

Well, I just saw the first 10 or so minutes of YS, but AHDN still rules.

Wow the whole movie! That's great that someone posted the whole thing.
For me, I think my favorite is Help ! Then comes AHDN , and YS. Let It Be depresses me and MMT confuses me. The Sgt. Pepper 's movie makes me laugh and angry. It's so bad.
Special mention to Nowhere Boy and Across The Universe . I really did like both movies.
