Mith, would you like some lessons on behaving yourself? If so, PM me tonight or whenever you choose!
*snorts*
Sorry. Just the idea of a teenager giving a grown woman lessons on how to behave was rather shocking.
JOE GETS TO INTERVIEW YOKO?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
OK, that is the most exciting thing I have heard in a while.
Got a 17! (Does mithveaen know what I mean?)
Joe is Interviewing May Pang, not Yoko and I was kidding about the lessons (Because of the fact it should be the other way around)

May Pang, not Yoko. And only via email – we live on different continents, it's easier that way. We've exchanged a few messages and I've sent her a list of questions.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

While I have the opportunity, is there anything you'd especially like to know? I'd like to avoid the themes she probably gets asked a lot of the time, but if you have any unusual ideas do let me know (I can't promise I'll put them to her).

Thanks for the opportunity Joe. This is very gracious of you.
In the documentary, she mentioned that John and Paul got together where John was staying in LA and it was as if they had never parted. I would love to know (if she knows) what they talked about the most; the early days, what they were up to currently, where they thought they were headed musically?
I'll take anything.

What themes do you plan to explore?
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

I hope that the interview is broadly chronological, starting with her time working with Allen Klein and leading up to today. I'm not focusing too heavily on the Lost Weekend, though obviously it'll loom large.
Curious fact: both May Pang and Mary Hopkin married Tony Visconti (at separate times). I vaguely know Mary's daughter – they both live here in Cardiff, though Mary rarely does interviews. I saw her in my work canteen last year and was tempted to say hello, but didn't.

Getting back to the TV show – for me the best part was the pictures of John and Paul together in LA. Maybe the dream wasn't completely over.
That's exactly what prompted my response above. I don't want details about the Lost Weekend, per se. I am just interested in what John and Paul talked about.

Someone may already have linked this, but the documentary is streaming for free on this website from PBS. Lots of extras on the site, too.
