I’m reading The Gospel According to The Beatles by Steven Turner (the author of A Hard Day’s Write). I’m not very far into it, I’ve just finished the preface and eight pages of the first chapter.
It’s not one of those Christian books that tries to convert you…it’s about the evolution of the religious and spiritual thought of each Beatle starting with what church they went to as kids and detailing their evolution throughout their careers.
Has anyone read this?

I’m over 150 pages into the book now, and I can already highly recommend it. It provides lots of information about their drug use (and how it affected their music) and their spiritual pursuits.
I’m up to about 1969 right now, so there is a good bit left. I have really enjoy reading the parts about George and reading the quotes from him. He seems to have really dedicated himself spiritually more than the other Beatles.
In terms of effort made in applying themselves to a spiritual path, I would probably rank The Beatles this way:
George
John
Paul
Ringo
