It’s unlikely I’ll be in position to buy both of these.  Wondering what’s different & whether it’s significant.

Right now I’m most interested in early period so (assuming both were available) it’d be a question of the later title’s volume 1 being 1/3 the price of the former.

I wouldn’t be approaching with a sole interest in hardcore audio engineering, but I would like a broad understanding of instruments and studio devices/techniques.
