Leslie Woodhead, the award-winning film-maker who shot the historic first footage of The Beatles in the Cavern Club (sure you’ve seen the clip!), has a new book out on April 25: How The Beatles Rocked The Kremlin.

Offline I concur. I at first thought the guy who shot John actually wrote a book, before I remembered he died too.

Should be noted that Leslie Woodhead did a documentary of the same title, How The Beatles Rocked the Kremlin, about a decade ago (I think?).
Book would seem to be based on that. Looking forward to it.

The initial post is from 2013, the book is available to buy online and has been for 8 years. ASJ has revived it to celebrate it’s 97th month anniversary.
I’ve changed the thread title to the name of the book as it makes the most sense.
Didn’t someone threaten to shoot Ringo for being a Jew missing the one main point being Ringo isn’t a Jew? And I’m sure George was shot at as a kid when stealing apples or cars, he says it in some interview (‘RSG’ or the bbc maybe). Or was that John?
