Oh no, with all those great new books I’ll be poor again in no time.Great picture by the way.
I feel the same, on my “must-get” list are the Lewisohn books, the McCartney in the 70s book, the Recording the Beatles and Beatles at the BBC book, and the forthcoming Paul bio by Philip Norman in 2015.

That BBC book does look good. I was going to buy Howlett’s previous BBC/Beatles book second-hand, but hopefully this’ll contain all the information plus more.
Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs

Indeed! I just wish they weren’t all hitting at once, all these books I’ll need to get (Lewisohn’s book, this BBC book, the Man on the Run aul McCartney in the 70s book, which looks to be excellent). I will have a Beatle-centric Christmas list this year!

I have been seeing a bit of these pictures from his book on tumblr lately.
Yeah my iTunes is saying it will only work on an iPad. I have a macbook, but not an iPad. Thanks Apple.
That’s okay I will get the hard copy when it comes out, I would rather have that. Not much of an “e-reader” fan. I’m all for saving trees, but there really is nothing like a physical book compared to a screen.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

BTW, does anyone have any idea why Amazon has 3 different prices listed for the hardcover? I don’t think they’re different editions.

I thought that might be it, but the range is usually not that wide. And the $75 option is what really got me.

I only see two prices…but one is 144 pages and one is 168 pages.
If you click on the plus sign, you see the $75 one. Meh, I’ll take fewer pages for less than half the price.

A review of The Beatles and Me at The Examiner.
Compiled by Sara Phillips and Liverpool musician Dean Johnson, the book contains roughly 40 unseen Beatles pictures and 70 new stories, and is the outgrowth of a Facebook page. Some of the stories, a few which date back to the Beatles’ early years, haven’t been heard before. And some of the pictures look like they’ve been tucked away all these years ago because they haven’t been seen, either.
