Wow, a book about something that never happened. They must be running out of ideas.

Here’s Amazon UK’s blurb:
The story of the Beatles as you’ve never seen it before, told using stunning infographics and data visualisations. Journey through the Beatles years – from the band’s first ever gig at the Cavern Club to the release of their final album Let It Be – in a visual exploration of their evolution from four young men to one of the greatest bands the world has ever seen. From witty stories and surprising facts to beautiful visuals created from the data Beatles music left behind, even the most avid fan will discover something new. The book, divided into albums, enables you, in an instant, to spot patterns, anomalies and transformations. VISUALISING THE BEATLES transports readers back to the vibrant sixties and explosive days of Beatlemania through the beautiful world of infographics.
Don’t put “Visualising The Beatles” into the USA Amazon search bar. Well, you can, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Just heard about this book which is just released …”The Beatles: I Was There: More Than 400 Fans Tell Their Stories by Richard Houghton” https://www.waterstones.com/bo…..1905959945 Apparently he did one on the Stones too. He’s also doing a talk at The Islington pub in London on 28th Nov.
@Leppo – I’m putting together my Xmas wish to give to Mrs. Claus. Have you heard anything about how good this book is? Were you able to attend the talk last week?

Whose up for getting this one? From what I heard on the SATB podcast, it’s going to set bar on documenting their North American tours.

No @Zig I only saw the link and haven’t read it. I didn’t go to the talk. It does sound good though and I’d like to get it.

Much appreciated, Leppo.
After I asked you the question, I saw on Amazon that you can take a sneak peek at the book. It does look cool and the price is cheap. It has been added to my Christmas list.

Hi @Zig I just thought I’d mention further to your comment about whether I went to the talk by Richard Houghton. I’m a regular listener the “The Word ” podcast and I didn’t realise when I mentioned Islington but that talk was actually for the Word podcast which is where they always host their shows. So I was listening to a recent one and by chance came across it. http://wordpodcast.co.uk/2016/…..tles-fans/ It’s worth a listen and is also on itunes.
