Billy R was making sense earlier about John’s commitment to AR. I was thinking how similar to Sgt Pepper ……..Although John’s songs are very strong on SP there’s that hint of desperation for some kind of muse for our lazy Nowhere Man ……..’Need a song What’s on TV……I’ll write about cornflakes………S**t need another……..’Oooo nice painting Julian what’s it called?’

I think it was NZBeatlefan that said it all……..John had a smaller palette of musical skills to draw upon than Paul certainly……. and perhaps George as well……But no one made more of what he had than John.
