Has anyone read this little book? I’m halfway through it and I’m thinking of getting rid of it. It has some good information, but it also seems to have some bad information.
Also, the author interjects his own opinions way too much. He criticizes Yoko’s songs, and he says that Elvis was John’s enemy and tried to get him deported (which is not true at all). Elvis mentioned The Beatles in his meeting with Nixon but I firmly believe it was because he wanted the narcotics badge and was prepare to say what he thought Nixon wanted to hear. After all, Elvis was a man who smoked pot a number of times and experimented with LSD.

Yes but i havent read it in decades and so cant remember much aside from that I enjoyed it at the time. I’m sure my copy is called something like ‘John Lennon We All Shine In: The Story Behind Every Song: 1970 – 1980′. It is and is here. The books got more titles than pages!!
