That is dedicated complaining I tell you, generally I leave a grumbling remark (if I bother to do it at all) and then leave. June42 has quite a bit of time on her hands to accuse random men on the internet.
That and I never see Olivia getting abuse, I thought everybody likes Olivia- she seems like a nice gal.

She keeps using the word misogynistic when clearly your comments are not.
Knowing it comes with the territory as owner of the site, it’s still a shame you have to go through this. I don’t think she is buying into the fact that you are being objective. Any further attempts on your part to state your case would be futile. I would simply stop responding.

JoeTo the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
I don’t really mind. I can deal with an idiotic social justice warrior with reading comprehension problems. But thanks for the backup @Zig, as ever.
This site actually gets me very little abuse (that’s not an invitation for more). The stupid comments I get tend to be more “UR gay LOL” or “Beatles were s**t”, and occasionally people get carried away and start slagging off other commenters. Generally I’m not the target, so this has been an interesting experience.
I did actually get another reply but didn’t publish it. I think I’d probably be the embodiment of all that is sexist however patiently I explained my words. “Sorry but your excuses don’t wash with me. I am not projecting at all. There isn’t much difference between the things you have said and some of the comments I have reported.” In other words: “I’m not listening.”

There were a lot of nasty remarks about her in various places when that article about Louise Harrison came out. I’ve seen many racist comments as well, sadly.
There’s also some Pattie fans who don’t believe George actually loved Olivia, but that’s a whole other thing.

Beatlebug, Ahhh GirlI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.
