Part of the issue could just be having it at Livejournal. A friend of mine teased me for still having one. Have you considered posting at An Archive of Our Own?Edit: Annadog40 recommends fanfiction.net. Seeing as I’d reposted a video making fun of the site, I figured I should avoid referring you to it.

I have limited experience with Archive of Our Own. I don’t like the format of it. I do occasionally read stories there. I rarely read stories over on fanfiction.net What do you think about Wattpad?

^ Maybe for more sharing you could post it on fan fiction.net under Across The Universe section or on deviant art
I’m not a fan of fanfiction.net or deviant art. I don’t like the format of those sites. Any thoughts on Wattpad?

Wattpad isn’t my thing since their are not enough gen stories. You could try posting your stories on tumblr

I went ahead and set up an account on Wattpad. I’m most comfortable with that format. I will take the other sites recommended to me here into consideration.

Can you please write that? It sounds great, how would Little Baby Jesus and Santa Claus get involved? And is it Little Baby Jesus Christ we’re speaking of or just some fella called Jesus?

I haven’t gotten very far with the story line. It would involve Ringo, Paul, and some fans being contacted by John and George from beyond the grave, where John is leading some sort of Revolution . Then they would cross over to the other side. Elvis would be like Superman. He would perform miracles and be a karate expert. Little Baby Jesus would be some kind of almost mythical, impersonal figure, who makes rare appearances in which he radiates metaphysical energy, maybe as a baby in a glowing crib in the sky. I haven’t figured out what the conflict is or who the bad guys are, but there would definitely be a trip to the North Pole.

That actually sounds brilliant, if I was a publisher I would pay you a small amount of money to start that book.
Even if it was absolutely sh*te (which it won’t be because Beatle Biblers are Gods and everything we touch is great), I would still read it.
Seriously if you ever find yourself bored-start on that story or at least get Annadog to make a cartoon of it.

Oooh, a deadline! I had envisioned it as an avant-garde play, but a novel might work.
You could write it as a script

Fanfiction.net is probably your best bet if you want a large audience, but the demand for Beatles stuff is small enough. If you added One Direction or Harry Potter to your fic you could be on to a winner though but some say if you write 1D fanfic you sell your soul to the devil.
I don’t know anything about One Direction or Harry Potter. I’ll see how things go on Livejournal and Wattpad, Leo.

Is their a fic about one or more of the Beatles falling into the crowd during a show or being overwhelmed by the mass of Beatles fans?

What kind of fan fictions do you like to read (if you read any fan fictions)

I enjoy ‘odd’ pairings, maybe I should say less popular pairings. For example, there’s a story I’m reading (Only one chapter posted), centered around Maureen after Ringo’s death in the late 1960s. The author is setting up the story for a Maureen and Cynthia romance. I like giving stories like this a chance because there doesn’t appear to be a big demand for it. Which often means less views and comments. Usually, I find some gems in the less popular pairings, more-so than in the monster hits, McLennon, Starrison, etc.
Another genre I enjoy, which might be trite is straightforward romance between a Beatle and an original character. It’s all been done before but if it’s well written I’ll read it.

That’s the first time I’ve heard Starrison referred to as a monster hit. My perception of the popularity of Beatle pairings is generally this:

I guess I should’ve said, when it comes to slash pairings, it’s usually John with Paul, and Ringo with George. Clearly, McLennon is the bigger of the two. My apologies for not making that clear in my previous comment.
