First release is Abbey Road for £9.99 and if you order online it comes with a free t-shirt (other online exclusives include a powerbank, a backpack, copy, mug and others).
Seems like a reasonably affordable way to collect their vinyl if you want to. Second delivery is going to be 2 records (not sure which) and 2 magazines for £38. Third delivery is going to be 2 albums (one of which will be The White Album , I think) for £46 and you get a hi-def print of the cover of whatever your favourite album is.
I think there is going to be 12 deliveries in all.
So any of the Brits interested in it?
Now because I’ve given you free publicity Deagostini, I would like my free review copies please, thank you very much 😛

TBH I probably won’t get any of them because I’m already spending all the money I have on the original albums. I’ve bought stuff from Atlas, Eaglemoss and Airfix in the past and pretty much given up on them after one or two issues.
If that advert is on the telly, my dad will probably go ballistic over it and still buy it, despite my objections. (See my recent post in the 9 facts thread to get what I mean.)

Not interested. I have the vinyl and have zero desire to commit myself to a 23-part series costing goodness knows how much.
Impressive that Apple has found anther method in which to flog the catalogue however. There surely can’t be many other ways available.

They could release Carnival Of Light , and some previously unbootlegged-bootlegs, for a start.

Comes with a magazine on each album written by Kevin Howlett, a free gift with each album (usually a poster), and if you subscribe you also get…
The Beatles 2009 vinyl stereo set is currently £322.03 on Amazon (though I know it can be got cheaper).
Too many compilations in my opinion – the Red and Blue, Past Masters and 1! (they could have replaced the Red and Blue with the Yellow Submarine Songtrack and Let It Be … Naked) – but overall this looks a very good value set of Beatles vinyl, especially if you subscribe.

Have all the records so far; Red 62-66 latest. So far so good and remastered version as good as if not better than the original. Reason for buying is it saves my so far mint(ish) originals and fill gaps in my collection. Costing some though. Just trying to work out which issue I have to subscribe at to get all the free gifts while only paying £2 extra per issue. If anyone can advise I would be ever so grateful
Just thought I’d add I’m not a die hard Beakles fan; my fave band is Fleetwood Mac; fave solo act Stevie Nicks. Prepares to get executed on here . . .
One thing I have to say though is “in ‘how many?’ songs on 11 albums, some doubles) I’ve not played a song so far that I’ve not come across perhaps on radio 2. A testimony I think to a good solid band.
Was at Tom Petty gig in Hyde Park (to see Stevie Nicks) recently and was surprised at Petty’s back catalogue too; 2 hour set and I knew every song!!
