I was at a local used bookstore and found a Beatles book that looked interesting about the A Hard Days Night movie (The Beatles in Richard Lester’s A Hard Days Night) so I examined it and it is basically a screenplay of the movie with a bunch of still frames to accompany it. This on it’s own was interesting but not particularly noteworthy to me. However I soon realized that there were some sheets of paper stapled together tucked between the cover and the first page which interested me a great deal. The papers appear to be from the publisher but I have no idea who they are intended for, a recipient bookshop potentially? Can anyone tell me what the purpose of these papers is and why they are in my book?

Super fab, @arkaologist.
I think this is Laurie Likoff’s LinkedIn profile. I’d email her if I were you and ask her about the letter.
If you do, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell us what you find out!
