She was a secretary at apple. Here's an interview with her, which seems a tad interesting, if also self-serving.
Thanks for article Mr. Sun King . Some of the things she talked about were interesting. She always seemed to be at the right place at the right time. But the way she wrote it was as if it was fan fiction.

Hey, that's Hammerdealer's old avatar! You aren't going to start two dozen threads comparing random songs, are you, Bri? (No need to answer, that's a BB inside joke. Welcome to the forum!)
Haven't read MYFN myself, sorry.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

I think it’s a fascinating book. It’s probably the nearest we’ll get to a McCartney autobiography, so I can forgive it being a bit self-serving/uncritical. Just to have all that first-hand information is invaluable. Remember, one day he won’t be around so to have his thoughts of the 1960s down on record is A Good Thing. I’d like to have follow-up volumes for the non-Beatles years too.

I am a new Beatles fan, Therefore I have only one book and I'm borrowing a book, unless you count magazines. I wonder if Blue meanies can read? I hope they can, that would be weird if they could talk, but couldn't read. Does anyone else agree?
My Book: The Beatles, A life in pictures.
by, Tim Hill Pretty good, but not really informative.
Borrowed Book: 100 Best Beatles songs, and informed fans guide.
by, Stephen J. Spignesi and Michael Lewis
I highly suggest this one. And my smiley face Ringo does too!!!
Magazines of mine: Rolling Stone, The Beatles 100 greatest songs. This was Collectors edition! But if you can find any at all, get it!!!!!
Rolling Stone, The lost Lennon tapes. Haven't read the whole thing yet, but so far I'd suggest it.

Okay Guys, I acquired Can’t Buy Me Love in March. I just got around to finishing it. I like it because it really shows the Beatles impact on the social mood. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but again, just wait for Lewisohn.

I recently got In His Own Write and A Spaniard In The Works. I also have the Tim Hill Beatles books filled with pictures of them. Also, The Lost Beatles Photographs, and that Rolling Stone magazine with the top 100 songs, though I don't think that counts as a book.

just bought Many years from now and i love it!!!!!!!!!!!! any feedback on opinions of the book??
I'm a little ways into it. I like it!
I can't remember all the books I have, but I'm also reading one called Beatleology which classifies John, Paul, George and Ringo as personality types. According to the book I'm a definite George with some Paul.
I'm halfway into Keith Richards' book too, which is fantastic.
The universe thinks so too. and it thinks I'm a George with some Paul. *17*

I'm often compared to Paul, with some John in me. Ugh, at that time, I hated Paul for totally ditching me, and they had to rub it in my face. And my friend, Catie, is just like John, but she has some George in her. She's the reason why we made our Beatles smileys (:^) being George).

The test in the book said I was a Paul, but the George description just fit so much better, I thought. It's an interesting book, the authors put a lot of detail into it. EDIT: I just read the descriptions a bit again and I'd say it's half-half. So I guess I'd be :'^) Right?
