Ice Cube – The PredatorWasn’t expecting a fellow BBer to be into rap.
I love a certain amount of rap too, and “The Predator” is one of my favourite albums of the genre.
And btw, the opening track is built off a “We Will Rock You” sample!

I thought this would be easy without including any Beatles albums but it is still a challenge but here are my favourite albums as of today:
1.Metallica – Ride The Lightning (1984)
2.Mr. Bungle – California (1999)
3.Guns “N” Roses – Appetite For Destruction (1987)
4.The Monkees – Headquarters (1967)
5.Green Day – Nimrod (1997)
Also I think I might have to listen to 22 by Taylor Swift as I have seen it come up a few times.

I thought this was too difficult to answer, but if I could only listen to five albums for the rest of my life (outwith the Beatles) at a push, for the albums I don’t skip any tracks on, in no particular order:
The Stooges – fun house.
David Bowie – The Man Who Sold the World.
Black Sabbath – Paranoid – Planet Caravan would be in my top 10 favourite tracks of all time – probably.
Rolling Stones – Exile on Main Street – for the beautiful track Let it Loose alone.
The Arctic Monkeys – Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.
and em in joint fifth; Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here.

Red, Taylor Swift,2013Out of all the great albums to choose from (A Night At The Opera, Master Of Reality, Boston, News Of The World, And Justice For All, Reign In Blood, The Number Of The Beast, Dirt, Back In Black, 2112, etc.), you pick this, very interesting.
I just noticed that @Dark Overlord got the year wrong here. It’s 2012. Taylor has always released her albums on even years.

Except that you forgot that she made an EP in 2007 and since I count EP’s with original tracks (original as in first album appearance of that particular version, not original as in not cover) as albums, you’re partially wrong.

That’s true, The Holiday Collection was released in 2007. Also her two live albums came out on odd numbered years, The Speak Now World Tour (2011) and The 1989 World Tour (2015).
I was referring to her 5 studio albums, as I tend to not count live albums or EPs when I talk about an artist’s discography. Either way Red came out in 2012, not 2013.

So it seems that Taylor Swift releases albums on even years and live albums/EP’s on odd numbered years.
I like it when artist put out a lot of content and put out special releases in between studio albums like live albums and EP’s to keep the fans entertained/interested.
And in the end the lunch you take is equal to the lunch you bake.

Yes and no, she’s only ever released 2 EPs and 2 live albums, the other EP that wasn’t mentioned above was the 2008 Beautiful Eyes EP. But she always releases her studio albums every two years on the even years in the fall. 2016 she didn’t release an album because she was on a break(which lots of people criticized, because they too don’t ever want to have a break off of their work). Her next album has been lightly rumored to be coming out in fall 2017, however I don’t think it will come out till 2018.

That’s interesting. I haven’t really looked into her Discography but I am interested to check out some of her stuff because I don’t mind a few of her songs but hopefully she comes out with a new album soon for her fans but sometimes taking your time to make sure you have a good album isn’t a bad thing either.

Yeah her music is very good. She’s the only more modern artist that I listen to. I do recommend her stuff.

Wow I don’t know if Fun House has ever been mentioned anywhere on this forum!
That’s at least 4/5 of a great top five (never heard the Monkeys cause I yam old)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
