I haven’t posted in a while (been more of a lurker, reading it all instead of posting) but I thought I’d post my (sort of) cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Oh Well. I say sort of because I forgot the solo and had to play the Sunshine of Your Love solo instead! Anyway, on with it! (Unfortunately my mum decides to walk in right at the end and ruin the best take…

Starr Shine?, ScrambledEggs"White Album - My joint-fave Beatles album along with Revolver. They show the two sides of Beatles. Revolver's very controlled - even though it's also very innovative. The White Album's playful and almost ramshackle. It's like a scrapbook kept by a genius. Fantastic stuff."

I’ve done a studio-quality cover of Pink Floyd’s Echoes.
Sorry about the lead parts, I’d worked on it during all my free school time for weeks and I just wanted to get it done on the last day. I’m going to re-record them at some point though.

Behold my MULTI-TRACKED cover of ‘Wish You Were Here’! (Credits for editing the thing together go to @pepperland)
It came out better than I thought it would, considering. (I’m sure the fine stereo mix has something to do with it. ) Note the last couple minutes of me noodling around.

If only David Gilmour could play on it. Seriously, it deserves his shredding.

I can’t hear it (unless I allow google drive to open it and then take over my whole world into the bargain!) Right clicking doesn’t offer the usual ‘open with’ command. Do you have another link SG?

I didn’t bother trying to play it online, I just downloaded it – and very fine it is, too.

That (Unintended) is one of my absolute best songs and it suits my voice like it was meant to be.
I know at least one more song that fulfils this criterion now. Beautiful!I really wish David Gilmour stumbles across this recording one day! I’m sure all he’d say would be: Siiiing to me, siiiiing to me

Awww I’m so glad you think so, I’ve never been too confident in my vocals on this song; I have, however, been playing it forever, so I’ve had plenty of time to get it right.
@Zig and @Sugarplum fairy, I’ll see what I can do.

I’ve never thought of him as a huge shredder, his playing style being more delicately wrenching notes out of one’s soul than shredding, and besides — he already played on it. He’s had his turn — now it’s mine.
