Cool lists here! Gonna confine mine to pop music (and consciously appease certain partisan pudlians with a few choices, hahaha…not that the chosen artists aren’t worthy.)
(Oh, and this list is certainly not eternal. Fortunately I don’t plan to strand myself in the near future)
1. Bo Diddley, “Mona”
2. Joni Mitchell, “”This Flight Tonight”
3. Beatles, “I Saw Her…”
4. Supremes, “When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes”
5. Raincoats, “In Love”
6. Bowie, “Panic in Detroit”
7. Bow Wow Wow, “Go Wild in the Country”
8. Prince, “Let’s Go Crazy”
9. Bob Dylan, “Highway 61 Revisited”
10. Velvet Underground, “Sister Ray” (chosen for value: 17 minutes worth)
11. Donna Summer, “I Feel Love”
12. Motorhead, “Ace of Spades”
13. Jimi Hendrix, “Third Stone From the Sun”
14. Led Zeppelin, “Celebration Day”
I hate this list already…

vonbonteeI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

These lists are always quite difficult to do … there are so many that aren’t on the list that on a different day would be. However, it gives a flavour of what I like, although I’ve not listed any Middle Of The Road (Tom Jones, Johnny Mathis, Andy Williams etc) or Classical Music which I also like.
Oh! I limited myself to one song from John, Paul and George (I’m not sure I have a favourite Paul song but chose Maybe I’m Amazed as it is brilliant).
Anyway, here is my list …
1. Beatles – Strawberry Fields Forever
2. Bob Dylan – Desolation Row
3. Beatles – Here Comes The Sun
4. Genesis – Firth of Fifth
5. Buddy Holly – It Doesn’t Matter Anymore
6. Roy Orbison – In Dreams
7. Pink Floyd – Money
8. Paul McCartney – Maybe I’m Amazed
9. Tammy Wynette – Apartment No. 9
10. Grams Parsons – Return Of The Grievous Angel
11. Elvis Presley – American Trilogy
12. The Seekers – I’ll Never Find Another You
13. Iris Dement – Infamous Angel
14. Bruce Springsteen – Jungleland
