Sometimes while visiting the forum you check who is online and knowing where they live wonder “Why are they up so late?”
Same.
Knowing where I live and what time it is, I am indeed wondering why I am up so late.
And yes @Turn Left At Greenland I consider that an honor.

When you’re in an iMessage group chat and your brain can’t compute that you can’t “thank” someones “post” in the gc for a whole 5 minutes.
Also, when you’re halfway through an album and then get antsy because you forget to post about it in the “What’re you listening to….” thread.

A thumbs up/heart carries too little meaning– I need to be able to send my intense gratitude for them posting messaging through a little button.

It’s more interpersonal, I think, to say “I am thanking you because I am grateful that you said those words” than just “I liked them words”

I like iMessage because it gives you different ways to thank them. I especially like the exclamation marks. It’s basically agreeing but with lots of exclamation marks. Also you can send messages with balloons or fireworks.

The thanking feature is genius. I love how I can thank someone for their contribution, even if I don’t agree with them.

Apologies for the double post, but you know you’re a hardcore Beatles Bibler when… you have a dream that you own a large camper van and are driving around in it (bear with me). You then see two hitchhikers on the side of the road in the countryside, so you pull over to give them a lift. Turns out it’s @Beatlebug and her dad (?), who are on their way to a pottery making competition in London and have with them several extremely heavy bags full of clay. An odd dream, but quite fun

If I ever feel the need to hitchhike to London with my dad, I’ll be sure to try and catch you and your large camper, @QuarryMan

@QuarryMan did they win their competition?
I’m not sure, I woke up before I got to that part, but they seemed to be pretty well prepared. Maybe I’ll get a second instalment tonight
