That is the new spelling. It used to be Jana. A lot of people pronounced it Jayna, and it’s actually a short A sound, so I thought the spelling would solve that. Also, I thought it looked more “finished” that way. The name (either spelling) is a feminine form of John, so yay, I’m still a walking Beatles reference!

No it isn’t. All my sources say Lennon, although Lenin is much more consistence to history, with Lenin taking Marxism as the basis of the Soviet Union (USSR).
Edit: I'm wrong. Don Mclean's website says Lenin.
