Offline My choir teacher tested us at the beginning of the semester, and based on that he said I was a soprano. Maybe I’ll try and see what notes I can sing, but we’ll see (don’t want anyone to hear me 
).

Granted, that’s while driving, with road noise, car engine, etc (which probably caused the C2 blip), so I won’t take it as absolute 100% accurate, but I tested that F5 a bit and it’s most definitely pushing it. With a bit of warm up I could probably raise a bit further but I’d most likely need to not be driving, lol. Songs I tried it with were Life Itself by George, and for the high end I tried Extraterrestrial Biological Entities by Egoist, which is a Japanese song =D

I got even more interested after seeing a video on youtube of a lady singing a tribute to the opera scene from The Fifth Element. There’s no way I could possibly achieve that range/ability. Let me know if you’re interested in seeing the video.

My buddy was telling me the other day that right when he woke up he could hit some pretty low notes. I think it’s a real thing.
