Okay don’t drive me off the site, but I actually sort of like the song “I fink u freeky”
That song/video actually makes me want to watch, or better yet direct, a real snuff film (preferrably using the band/actors), just to cleanse my system.

Endless songs within any number of genres that don’t sound like the Beatles. To be honest, a lot of music with a consciously “Beatley” sound I try to avoid.
There’s also a lot of music that could be Beatley or Beatlish, or conceivably done by the Beatles.

I dunno, I’d say “Kashmir” has a touch of “Within You Without You ” about it. That mixture of Far East swirliness and Western classical instrumentation. Just IMO

I agree and disagree with you Von Bontee. I don’t think it sound much like “Within You Without You “. But I could see it being somewhat Beatle-ish in some ways.
It’s very hard to find something “un-Beatley”. I mean, The Beatles basically put all music together. You know? I guess rap, modern pop and modern metal would be un-Beatley. (Even though I don’t find rap and modern pop to be music at all, just noise. Don’t hate on my opinion, please.)
If anything, maybe Fleetwood Mac. Not Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham’s, Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac. If anyone has the time, I highly recommend them. They started as just a blues band, and then they progress into something much more. Oh Well and Man of the World are probably the best.

“Without You”- Harry Nilsson ( love this song!!)
I’m a massive Nilsson fan, glad to see some appreciation! Have you listened to any of his other material? A lot of it is extremely Beatlesque; in fact, when I first ever heard Harry’s version of Without You quite a few years ago, I thought I was listening to some well-hidden McCartney track! John and Paul both adored his music and championed him in the press in ’67 and ’68, as well as John becoming a close collaborator and drinking buddy with him in the mid-70s and during the Lost Weekend. Great songwriter.

That’s a hard one because I like a lot of Beatle-like bands, or ones inspired by them. If No Surprises by Radiohead counts, I’ll nominate that. I heard it once on Scrubs (or something) walking by and I got pretty excited. I also like a lot of the White Stripes, and the most un-Beatle-like one I can think of would be Blue Orchid, ESPECIALLY the Basement version. I believe they’re more influenced by blues and Zeppelin than Beatles.

Most of Muse’s stuff ain’t that Beatley, I guess.
And how about some solo piano music from George Winston?
