Thanks, Egroeg. If I ever do decide to abandon ship, I’ll hold a grand party in the ballroom of the H.M.S. Penny Lane .

I was thinking yesterday about the people that used to come on here and now don’t….whatever hapepened to Dipsy?
Feel sad that people no longer come on here. I suppose life just gets in the way.

Yes, haven’t heard from Kedame since she started medical school. Hope she hasn’t turned into Maxwell Edison.

Is it weird that I know about a lot of the Beatles Biblers who were last online long before I joined? (Paulrus, Mr. Big, Dear Prudence , Mr. Sun King Coming Together, Dipsy, Kedame, GniknuS, MeanMrsMustard, Alissa, Skye, etc.)
Also known as Egg-Rock, Egg-Roll, E-George, Eggy, Ravioli, Eggroll Eggrolli...

I suppose if you’ve been reading thru old threads then you see different names pop up more than others. And I think some of those that you mentioned still come on here from time to time…

I did see that one person that I mentioned was online recently, but she didn’t post anything. And yeah, I do see the names of long-ago users because of reading old threads. But the creepy thing is that I almost feel like I know them (well, as well as I know the current Beatles Biblers).
I was in Spanish class the other day, and there’s someone named Evan in my Spanish class. The teacher called on him, and I thought to myself, “Don’t most people call him Sun King or Mr. Sun King , not Evan? Oh, wait…”

I used to be on a forum on which I knew most people’s real names, and everyone was calling each other by their real names too in all threads. And I knew what most of them looked like, because I had met them or they had posted pictures, but on this forum I don’t know ANYONE’S real name, except for the people who have their own names as usernames and I have no idea what everyone looks like. I liked on that other forum that it was as if you really knew those people, but I really like the anonymity on here too.
And it’s quite funny how you think of people in usernames. I think of people like ”Mr Sun King Coming Together” instead of ”Evan” or whatever.

I know the names of a few people, but that’s only because they said their names when they introduced themselves.
And I think I saw a picture of Zig somewhere in the forum… but I don’t know where…
Yeah, it is funny how you think of people in usernames. I almost never think of the Beatles Biblers as their real names.

When you first joined, I always read Evoli as Emily, so now I always think Emily when I see your posts, or username. I know your real name is Autumn, but I still think Emily.

I’m called Emily The reason I put my name in my username was so that people could call me Emily if they wanted to, rather than saying fabfouremily. It saves time.

I’ve always thought Mildred was a man too! Unknown, you may be right that “Mildred” is Funny Paper having a joke, but I read the Blue Meanie as not liking something – not indicating a joke. That’s how I always use it, though sometimes tongue-in-cheek. Have I misunderstood the use of the Blue Meanie?
