Well I’ll attempt any cake but I’m fairly good at the old standards- carrot, sponge, lemon drizzle, I do a wicked coffee cake and I also have my secret Bailey’s and Malteser cheesecake which I’m pretty sure will give someone a heart attack one day but oh my it’s so good.
My personal favourite of anything (and if I go to anyone’s house I expect it to be there even if you don’t live in a place where you can actually buy it, I demand you make it) is a cherry bakewell, tart, cake whatever- cherries, almonds, frangipane- yum, yum, yum.

Offline Lemon drizzle is one of the very few cakes I will eat, tho it needs to be strong of lemon and sprinkled sugar. Another is banana.

Offline If ever I feel guilty for not eating healthy enough I will eat a banana; one reason being they are very cheap. Lovely in a roll or a sandwich, tho some evil deviants like them on toast!! You can get banana fritters (why not dip it in batter and deep-fry it first), and they are revolting.
These words came into my head for trc’s return but I omitted them previous

Bananas with peanut butter, in a sandwich or out, are a favourite. The banana sandwich, slices of banana on bread with mayonnaise, is a Southern classic — impossible to eat cleanly but delicious.
