Then I’d never be able to listen to “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” the same way.
What if, after George Harrison walked out of the “Get Back ” sessions, the remaining three took John’s suggestion and approached Eric Clapton; and he agreed to join the band – but then his friend George invited Eric to form a whole new band with him instead?

Eric would join both bands, but he wouldn’t tell The New Threetles about George’s band, and he wouldn’t tell George about The New Threetles’ band. After a while, The Threetles would start wondering what happened to George, especially Ringo (as he had always been George’s best friend in the band). Ringo would go to a record store to see if George had released any solo music, and he would be very confused because he would see a recent record from George and Eric, plus a few others. Ringo would get mad at both George and Eric, and he would go to George’s house to see what this was all about. George would explain that he and Eric had formed a band. Ringo wouldn’t be angry with George anymore, but both Ringo and George would be angry with Eric. Ringo would tell John and Paul that Eric had been tricking them, so they would kick Eric out of the band. George would kick Eric out of his band, so Eric would be all alone. The Threetles would need another guitarist, since they had been so accustomed to having one. Meanwhile, George’s band wouldn’t do very well without Eric, so they would disband. George would release some songs on his own, but they wouldn’t do very well because everyone missed The Beatles. George would go back to the remaining Beatles and ask if he could rejoin the band. John wouldn’t want him to, Paul would be torn because George had betrayed them yet they needed another guitarist, and Ringo would miss George and want him to come back. After a short period of The Threetles doing badly without a third guitarist, John would reluctantly say that George could come back. Ringo and George would be happy, and Paul, while not sure that he wanted George back, would be glad that at least they had another guitarist. The Beatles would finish their career with Let It Be and Abbey Road , and things would progress normally, except none of them would like Eric.
What if John had been one of the best students in school (i.e. no fights, straight As, etc.)?
EDIT: Also, shouldn’t this thread be moved to the games section?
