I don’t have a car, a license of any kind, or really too much of a desire to get the latter. Driving really scares me. Also riding bicycles. So, basically what I mean here is that I plan to use public transport to get places most of the time.
However, I do really love 1950-1969ish models of Volkswagen Beetles and first generation Volkswagen Type 2s. If I ever were forced to have a car, I’d find one of these (or maybe both). I think newer cars in general look terrible.

I sold my car about five years ago and just use the commuter train now. But when I did have cars, I usually went for small cars that were stick shifts. My favorite car was a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.

I didn’t realize that people ride trains, that’s so cool. I have to ask, is riding a train different from riding a bus.
No, it’s essentially the same. You buy one ticket and it works for both the train and the bus. Depending on where you live, public transportation can be either convenient or inconvenient. I used to be a 15 minute drive from the nearest train station and I would need someone to drop me off. Now we are a four minute walk from a train station, so I just walk to it in the mornings.
I like it because I can sit and read, and there is no getting angry about traffic or rude drivers.

Here in Melbourne, our public transport system is a joke. We don’t even have a train line to our airport…
Anyway, I take the train every morning to school (thought it’s only a 4 minute train trip.)

No no, it’s not a school train. We don’t have school buses in Australia (not that I know of, anyway). Everyone makes their own way to school, and I choose to catch the train.

Nice, @Necko. Now you need a Beatles sticker for it.

There is a Canada bumper sticker on it. I’ve never been to Canada.

We know Canadians who love the Beatles. The two stickers can live in harmony.
