This is a thread as to what car(s) you guys own(ed). It can be anything from the lowly sedan to the greatest classic you ever owned. Here’s my daily driver:
A brand new Ford F-150 Platinum with Ecoboost! It’s a great truck!
So feel free! As they say:
“I’m in love with my car!”

I have a nice red shiny Ford XR6:
Trouble is it is likely to get repossessed any day now
My (separated) wife had a Nissan Pulsar Q which she wrote off last week. Now she is pestering me to drive here everywhere – not happening. I suggested she ask Jesus if he could do it – some of you may get why.
Ohohohoooo, I’d loved to have been a fly on the wall to see her reaction!!!! Oh, my!!!

Which reminds me, @Zig should be showing us his new license plate soon.

I own no car and never have. Never liked driving, let my license expire in the late nineties, and have not driven a car in exactly 20 years as of this month. But I was tooling around in a four wheel drive ATV for a bit a couple of days ago at camp!

Let’s just say it was rather animated (and my ancestry was called into question) and leave it at that ..

Out of politeness i’ll not answer the obvious question.
I’m sure after the initial shock and disappointment your estranged parter was delighted at the news she would now get a lot more exercise @trcanberra.

Indeed – and the fact that we are experiencing some very bracing close to blizzard winter weather just now has made her even more enthusiastic.

My first sentence should have been “Out of politeness I’ll not ask the obvious question.”I edited the sentence a handful of times beforehand and it ended up squint.
Anyhoo, she’ll get to run to where she’s going to which will save on having to go the gym saving money and keeping her fit at the same time. Fail to see any negatives.

I have yet to get my drivers’ license.
I was going to try to get it again this summer. The great part about the laws in this state is that once you reach the age of eighteen, a Driver’s Ed course is no longer required.
“But, Necko, didn’t you take Driver’s Education in high school?”
Yes, I did. I failed the driving portion, though. I did alright in the classroom portion, but behind the wheel, I was terrible, because I never practiced. I hated practicing because most of my family are waaay too impatient and, therefore, terrible to learn how to drive with. I failed the final in the behind-the-wheel portion. I wasn’t paying attention. At one point, I had to do a two-point turn in a T-intersection. When I was backing up, another car drove past the top part of the T. The instructor hit the brakes. If the instructor has to hit the brakes at any point during the final, it’s an automatic failure of the final. I never bothered to try to take a driving course or to start practicing again, because I never had any real eagerness to get my license (which also contributes to why I never practiced). I’ve been realizing more and more lately that I need it, though. I probably needed it a few years ago, even.
