I’m so excited, while rummaging old boxes I came across two books I bought years ago and never read: a biography of Franz Kafka and another one about the life of Nero. If I only had more time!

I’m re-reading Klaus Voormann’s book “Why Don’t You Play Imagine on the White Piano, John?”- my German is better this time around and I’m enjoying it more than I was last time.
If anybody wants during the summer I could do a chapter by chapter translation seeing as there is no official translation? I could do a chapter per week I imagine (no pun intended) and I could post it in a mega thread. If anybody wanted me to email them the whole thing I could do it as a massive pdf?

I’m sure that eventuality would not be unappreciated, ASJ. I would certainly appreciate a copy. Not sure @Joe would want a full translation appearing on the forum though. Might be an idea to see how he feels about that, what with copyright and all that.

That’s what I was wondering about >.> I can do teaser snippets of a couple of paragraphs and if you like my style then I’ll send the rest via PM or whatever.
Mind you, the chapters are quite long as well so the thread would probably end up taking forever to load as well

I must be really vain, because I read this as you having a biography on the life of Necko.

I’m surprised that this book name doesn’t lead to an article written by Joe.

ASJ, I would love to read a translation of that book, but please don’t post it here. – I don’t want to get into trouble. Private sharing is probably best.

Sure, I might go into translations in the future so critiquing is part and parcel of it

Mmmm…. I wouldn’t exactly call Bakuman intelligent, but that’s what I’ve been reading. That and compulsory (but still fun) books for my literature class.
Oh, and BB forum posts
