I started listening to Badfinger some time ago. I’ve heard most of their greatest hits and they are considered very underrated because everyone thought of them as a Beatles knockoff and moved on. I like their second album they released on the WB label; it got pulled after seven weeks because of a lawsuit, though. I believe this is Pete Ham’s last album with the group before his death. My favorite songs on the album were at least co-written by their drummer, Mike Gibbins. He had a lot of potential..
Those are probably my two favorites. Mike only sings the first part of the second song; Some Other Time is Joey, but they might have put them together because they sounded similar. It’s probably one of the most underrated albums there is, at least in the 70’s.
Please don't wake me, no don't shake me, leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping~.

Tomorrow Never Knows . I was 14 years old the first time I heard this song. It was truly a hypnotic experience. Till this day, it is still one of the most mind blowing songs ever. Beatles 4 Ever.

I had Nirvana’s (superior to Smells Like Teen Spirit) follow up single, Come As You Are in my head all of yesterday. So I’m playing it now. (Mostly because I was in my C’s on my iPod.) You know, maybe this isn’t the right thread, but Nirvana is one of those bands that make me go “what if”. Music could have been so different in so many ways if he hadn’t killed himself. Life is so funny – if John hadn’t released DF, he might not have died in December 1980. I mean, he was finally getting back in the groove of things, he was becoming better for Julian, and then he died. Life is funny.

I think about that a lot: What would have happened if Kurt hadn’t killed himself?
Supposedly, Nirvana’s new album was going to be unlike anything they had ever done before. It was going to have new sounds, new instruments, a bit more stripped down, and I’m kind of angry that no one ever got to hear it.
(P.S.- I agree that “Come as You Are” is superior to “Smells like Teen Spirit”.)

I find the music of The Carpenters to be the most boring, bland, pointless piece of stale musty air thats going. How you can take songs like Please Mister Postman , Jambalaya and Help ! and make them truly insipid is some achievement and dont get me on tracks like Top of the World and Close To You.
I had to listen to their greatest hits on a car journey once. One of the longest trips ive ever been on – and i had to once stop in a town and by an ipod radio tuner after hearing the same Michael Buble song 3 times in the space of 2 hours (again on a car journey).

I’ve just noticed that the beginning of Oh!Darling and that of All I’ve Gotta Do are very similar.I thought the same exact thing when I woke up this morning. No joke.
Strange. Somebody up there wanted us to notice I think.
Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.
