Back Down South – Kings of Leon. I think Kings of Leon are becoming one of my favourite new bands, due to my mother's gift of their Only By The Night, which started me towards using their ITunes gift card to buy Come Around Sundown (Only By The Night is fabulous, and I have t really listened to CAS yet). Thanks Mom.
I really like KOL. I wasn't that impressed by CAS though. I do really like the song “Beach Side” and “The Immortals” off the album however. I haven't listened to the first three albums, but I plan too eventually. I do believe they are a really talented band though. “Knocked Up” is one of their best songs.
Now I have the urge to listen to King of Leon. Listening to “Beach Side”.
Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

OK, that tears it: I'm gonna download “Funeral” right now, pour a Canadian Club & Coke, and give it a listen before the day is up! (Unless my piece-o'crap computer decides to shut itself down before I'm through, grrr…)

Remember–John Lennon
I'd never heard this before I bought the album, and the first time I listened to it I jumped about a foot in the air at the end.
"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."
"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

OMG!! Shuffle play just offered up to me the rare TRIFECTA! “For You Blue “, followed by “Rain “, followed by “I Saw Her Standing There “!
I mean, this is amazing – there's like 700 songs on my cheapo little mp3 player, and I'd say no more than 2-3% are Beatles tracks. What are the odds?!

I quite like Keane too. I don't know a ton of their music but they sure fit my britpop standards.
Sunrise – Norah Jones. I love her voice, she's so relaxing. I guess I'll post it:
EDIT: I just found out that she is Ravi Shankar’s daughter. interesting.
