Offline Listening to the Rolling Stones ‘Gimme Shelter’ (the official lyric video)
That introduction is so brilliant!! Listen to Charlie Watts come in with the drums about 0.39. Bang bang! The back up vocalist Merry Clayton puts everything into it – but sadly, after making this recording she suffered a miscarriage.
I do really like the Rolling Stones – second only to the Beatles but their contemporaries. Only they are still performing!

I love Tom Petty, so even tho that song is pretty low on my ranking, I’ll always support any Petty appreciation 
Currently doing some editing of my night-driving playlist because it’s time to burn it onto a disc for the car. There’s a few good Petty songs on here, including one of my favorites, “Swingin'”.
