Take Good Care Of My Baby – The BeatlesI love the reverb on this song, and the rockabilly style delay on the guitars. The song reminds me of my hometown for some reason, maybe because it’s a little bit rockabilly and rockabilly was born in Jackson, TN. Also, I was in Jackson yesterday and I never realized Paul McCartney is on the mural at the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
Mmmmmmm….

Doing a little vinyl binge today because why the heck not, it’s been too long
Was:
McCartney on vinyl (I bought this record in a hipster record store in Lowell, Massachusetts, last May on a trip with my best friend)
Abbey Road on vinyl (a Christmas present, I believe)
am:
Ram on vinyl (this one my dad got at an antique store in downtown Raleigh some years ago)
Also the sound of birds and cars going by from my open window. Peak vibes

@Ahhh Girl
No clue why they gave him a mandolin/lute (or an odd shaped guitar with 8 strings??) Also, it’s weird you (Ahhh Girl) have been there and know exactly which mural I am talking about cause I like…… grew up there.
To not be off topic, I am currently listening to Crackerbox Palace by George Harrison .

Van Morrison – Summertime in England
A bit optimistic, maybe, as it’s only February. But it’s a great tune.

Richard, Beatlebug, sigh butterflyI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Actually, I haven’t seen the mural. I just looked for a picture of it on the ‘net. I’ll have to look for it the next time we stop at the Old Country Store at Casey Jones Village.

Depending on when it was done, @Neely, this might well explain the choice of instrument in the mural…
…with my favourite version being this one, where he does it as a duet with Kylie Minogue…

Too Many People by Paul McCartney .
I promised myself I would never like Paul’s solo music but oh my god this song is amazing!!! I love the verses so much. If anyone knows any other songs like this please let me know.

I actually can’t think of any similar songs to “Too Many People “. It’s kind of odd even within Paul’s ouvre.
I’m currently listening to a playlist I’m compiling of songs that evoke/match the feeling of that first teasing spring breeze that gets into your blood and makes you go wild in late winter – there’s a lot of U2 on it so far.

I collect songs for specific vibes, particularly vibes as addicting as that first spring breeze. I’ve actually been meaning to compile a proper playlist for this for ages. I’ve just finished sorting out the track order (sequencing is very important to me ) so here it is:
I’m also compiling a more general spring playlist, which is what I’m currently listening to/sequencing. I’d be happy to post it once I’m finished.
EDITED TO ADD
Here’s that playlist:

I can’t think of any of Paul’s songs that are closely similar to Too Many People , and I don’t know which albums are familiar to you, but maybe listen to the other songs on the Ram album if you don’t already know them?
These albums contain some songs that are very broadly similar:
* Band On The Run
* Flowers In The Dirt
* Off The Ground
* Flaming Pie
* Chaos And Creation In The Backyard
I hope that may help.
