This Sympathy For The Devil 4K video is great! Brian on maracas is a personal highlight.
John, Yoko and Pete Townsend are in the audience. I’m yet to recognise anyone else but I’m sure there are some more famous faces. Hope someone else gets a kick out of it!

Good ole 60s British Invasion playlist through youtube.
Before that I had been listening to a rock and blues station the my boyfriend turned me on to. Beats the local classic rock stations that play same repetitive music. What happen to the oldies/classic rock station that played a variety when I was growing up? They play the same ole songs from the 70s/80s while throwing in occasional Beatles song which is mainly Hey Jude or Come Together or a occasional Stones song.
Before that I was listening to modern music. I go through moods of music, but always end up back with the Beatles/60s music.

Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood, Dhani Harrison and Prince performing While My Guitar Gently Weeps when George was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. There’s a new director’s cut of the performance.
17 years after this stunning performance by Prince, I finally had the chance to go in and re-edit it slightly – since there were several shots that were bothering me. I got rid of all the dissolves and made them all cuts, and added lots more close ups of Prince during his solo. I think it’s better now. Let me know what you think. Joel.
The look on Dhani’s face is priceless.
What always gets me is that Prince couldn’t make the rehearsal, and just told them not to worry, “I can handle it.”
And we still don’t know what happens to his guitar in the end.

you can see the security guard in front of the stage catch the guitar as it falls down, but I spent years wondering if it ever came down from the sky

Partly inspired by the great video of Billy Preston and Nat King Cole linked by @Ron Nasty at ‘Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’ Induction for Billy Preston, I’ve been re-watching some other videos featuring the wonderful talents of Billy Preston.
Agent Double O Soul – Billy Preston, Ray Charles and His Orchestra (1967):
With You I’m Born Again – Billy Preston and Syreeta (1979):
My Sweet Lord – Billy Preston performing at the ‘Concert for George’ (2002):

Vera Chuck and DaveI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Wolf City – Amon Düül II
they’re primarily known as a Krautrock band (that’s a genre I’m real into), but this album sounds a lot more like straight up prog rock to me
pretty spaced out psychedelic prog granted, but still
real great album if you like your tunes “far out, man”
vocals can be a bit inducing at times though
