Bowie’s 2000’s output is simply amazing, he really kept his artistic integrity till the end

Love that album. I was in a club in high school where students got to sign up for times for, plan and host their own morning radio shows that would be broadcast throughout the whole school in the mornings, before the day started. On one of my last shows before the pandemic, I brought in my copy and let it play the whole way through. Great way to start the day, eh?

Am currently listening to, on loop:

Jimi’s final performance, jamming with Eric Burdon & War at Ronnie Scott’s in London on 16 September 1970. He is on FIRE!!!!

Incredible that he had just 48 hours left to him.

RIP Johnny Allen Hendrix, aka James Marshall Hendrix, or just Jimi (27 November 1942–18 September 1970).

That’s so cool! I’m sure I’ve mentioned it around here, my best friend had a radio program at his college before Miss Rona came to town.

Currently listening to “Tiny Dancer” on repeat, may try to listen to “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Peter, Paul, & Mary if I can snatch myself away from the other. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

Oh my GOODNESS, this is a super solid album. I’m very much enjoying it. Currently on “He’s A Whore”, which is a personal favourite of mine (might even be my favourite Cheap Trick song as of yet).

YES! “He’s a Whore” is my single favourite Cheap Trick number! Outlandish lyric, cool 8-string bass, semi-McCartneyish “Any Time At All …” backing vocal…a winner!

YES! “He’s a Whore” is my single favourite Cheap Trick number! Outlandish lyric, cool 8-string bass, semi-McCartneyish “Any Time At All …” backing vocal…a winner!

You sold me, I’ll give it a listen.

Not right now, though. I’m currently giving a first listen to Beautiful Creatures soundtrack by thenewno2 ahdn_george_08

Currently experiencing the killer hangover I deserved for mixing beer and wine, but for some reason it’s put me in the mood for Les Misérables, so I’m listening to the soundtrack while I lay in bed and suffer.

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

It’s great music to suffer to.

Now on the new Fleet Foxes album, Shore.
